中国道家的内丹术有三种境界最令人迷恋:

炼气化精,炼精化神,炼神还虚。

走完这三个阶段,便至炼虚合道的终点了,即成就道家的终极目标了。

可是,直到我们入了《楞严法》的法界之后,方知此道是多么的外玄!

对于“道”的解释,东方文字中,都非常的模糊和泛滥,从天象、自然道,众生道,到抽象的哲学道,应有尽有,其中充斥着各种的作用、道理,知道和规律以及理论。中国道家,既然以道著称,当然唯道而论了,但经研究,此道始终没有脱掉物质性的外壳,虽然也论及或修行到“气、神、魂、魄、无极”的阶段,或者把这个臭皮囊活到千年仙体,但多被禅师称赞为“守尸鬼”。

且不说,如此修行的方法,仅就其法理的逻辑已经存在很大的问题, 单说此内丹修行的目标是“化空与还虚”。这是问题的关键所在,从色进入到空,如何实现呢?是用中国式极限法,把实体无限分割下去,真极小单位,然后它就变空了吗?换佛家的法说,这样能做到“析色成空”吗?其实说到一个程度,结果已经不辨而明了。这是在《楞严经》所提示的妄想,人为地设置空与色的边界。

以上述三里程碑为例,其逻辑和事实的矛盾出现在第二和三阶段:

炼精如何化神?神是什么?是空还色?它是与“精”是同生同死的,还是不同步的,或是独立的存在?它怎么是生灭的吗?它如何能化成?此间,对神的解释,若以物质性为盾牌,那它还能自圆其说一步。

到了炼神还虚这一步,逻辑上,便没有了最后的灵活处了,因为虚,就是无实体了,至少物理学上就是虚空了。我们如何把一个活生生的物质变成“虚空”呢?是用从大到小,到甚微细的极限边界后,再一步跨进“虚空吗?”,那样的话,空与色就是两种平行的世界了,它们真的是有了边界了,即虚空与物质有了接触的边际了。如果这里真的有边界,那么就不应该只有往小的方向会走进空,也应该从往大的方向走,也能直入空。可惜,科学上都没有这种说法。

或许是通过“乾坤大挪移”来“变魔术”做了凭空消灭了色身,那样的空,便不是真虚空了。此种“无中生有”以及“有中生无”都典型的幻觉戏论。纵然修成仙,还是个“色”,或在色与空上不停地转换,那还是在轮回。

 关于空与色的法理,佛家的《心经》和《楞严经》都已经一劳永逸地解决了, 而且是了义无二的。

Chinese Taoist indulges in three states of the Internal Alchemy:

To refine vapor into the essence, refine the essence into spirit and refine spirit back into empty.

The practicing would have reached destination becoming substantial entity of the Tao (a natural law) when finished the journey of three stages.

But we knew how weird and deliberate mysterious it was when we went into the Dharma realm of the Shurangama Sutra

As for the Tao, the explanations in east languages are all vague and extensive, the appearances, natural Tao, living beings, and abstract philosophy everything were filled into it.

Although the theory and practice of Tao mentioned the phases of “vapor, spirit, soul, vigor and infinite” or transferred the stinking skin bag of the body into the immortal, yet Chan Master called it corpse-guarding ghost.

Let alone the method like that had its big problems in principle and logiconly to say that goal of Tao’s practice, the ultimate destination is “transforming empty back into the virtual”, it means to make something from form into emptiness, this is the key point lies here, how to do it? Do we use the Chinese limitation way to separate into the finest mote of dust the made void?

If that is the case, it will not be came true because there is a boundary between the form and void that set by human and this stats is a illusion and false thoughts that was instructed in the Shurangama Sutra

Taking the three stages mentioned above for example, the problem lies in the second and third phases.

How to refine the essence into spirit? Is that a form or emptiness?

As for the third step, the last process is ultimate void status, how to make it? We should know that emptiness and characteristic of the substance are not two parallel worlds and there is a verge of them to astride and even not spoke in science. It is clear no way for us to enter the emptiness with the accumulating of the finest quantity.

To reach it, people might use the magic tactics of big moving mountains and seas, but that way did not eliminate the substance, all it did was only a movement, in another words, it was still in the circulation of six paths.
