It is a member organization including all the leading cable operators in Europe servicing TV, broadband Internet, and telephony services to over 55 million customers. Core activities of Cable Europe Labs include research on emerging technologies, development of standards for cable technology, and certifying vendor equipment.
As an independent and neutral test lab, Excentis has been contracted by Cable Europe Labs to be the certification and qualification test lab of the current Euro-DOCSIS, Euro-PacketCable and Euro-PacketCable Multimedia standards.
